Government & Municipal Window Film

Attack-resistant glazing, privacy and decorative treatments, and solar control for public buildings, libraries, and municipal facilities.

Security film on government glass doors and entry glazing

Glass entry doors and sidelights are usually treated with a thick 3M Safety & Security film such as Scotchshield Ultra S800 or S2400, and where the design calls for it the film is anchored to the frame with the 3M Impact Protection Attachment. The film holds fractured glass in the opening so a single strike no longer clears the door; the attachment is what keeps the filmed pane in the frame under continued attack. Delay performance always belongs to the tested film, attachment, and frame assembly — not to the film alone.

Documented Delaware public-facility work

Completed projects include Duck Creek Library decorative and privacy glazing, Delaware DHSS offices, Sussex County fire stations, and school-district security-film programs. Public procurement packages receive 3M product data, warranty terms, and the specific film and attachment configuration proposed for each opening.
